Description Under the Horizon Europe programme, PRO-Coast mobilises communities and stakeholders to protect and restore coastal ecosystems across Europe. Our contribution was the development of Making PRO-Coast Visible—a practical Communication Guide that equips project partners and case study teams to share their results with clarity and impact.

The Guide is a concise yet complete resource built around three pillars: the Community Sustainability Platform (CUSP), the PRO-Coast Press Office, and effective social media strategies. It supports partners in engaging local media to amplify their work within national and regional ecosystems, leveraging social media to build awareness and foster community dialogue, using CUSP as a central hub for sharing tools, resources and knowledge, and aligning with PRO-Coast’s overarching communication strategy to ensure consistency and coherence across all platforms. By translating a complex, multi-country project into clear, actionable communication guidance, the Guide strengthens the project’s visibility, its local media reach and its capacity to sustain engagement beyond the funding cycle.
